Iyengar yoga focuses on developing strength, endurance, correct body alignment, flexibility and relaxation.  It improves your concentration, circulation, coordination, balance and increases general vitality. Yoga is good for stress, as well as mind and body relaxation, for all ages and all levels of physical condition.

Please arrive 10-15 minutes before class. Let your teacher know if you have had any physical injuries, or if you are menstruating.

Yoga is best practiced on an empty stomach. Drink lots of water after your class.

Wear appropriate clothing. We recommend a sweater, socks, and eye covering for the final resting pose.

Bring a yoga mat if possible. All other props are provided.

Parking is available on George Street (watch for signs) or in the Christ Church Parish parking lot.

If you have previous experience in other forms of yoga, Iyengar Yoga will be new to you. Please start with a series of Beginner classes.

Purchase a Yoga Card to attend classes - choose 5 classes or 10 classes. Prices are listed below, taxes included. You may either pay in the studio (cash) or downstairs in store. A drop-in fee of $20 is also an option.
